sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). He has a younger brother, Frank Stallone, who is a musician and actor. Sylvester was paralyzed on the left lower part of his face due to complications during childbirth. He is now sporting his famous "snarling" expression, and a slightly his voice is slurred. Because of the volatile parent-child relationship, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. In the end, the couple divorced. Stallone did his studies in drama at American College in Switzerland, before attending the University of Miami. Stallone left the school to explore acting in New York City.
