Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born April 24, 1982, Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American performer, songwriter and TV personality who emerged as a pop-rock superstar after having won the telecast talent contest American Idol at the age of 22 in. Clarkson was raised in Burleson Texas (a suburban area of Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were first recognized by her seventh grade singing teacher. Clarkson dropped out of high school to go in Los Angeles where she failed to make it in the world of entertainment. Following her return to Texas, she became an contestant in the inaugural season of the American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Company. American Idol, a singing competition where viewers could vote for their favourite performer. Clarkson received a lot of praise from viewers due to her captivating vocals and humorous style. Her prize in the prize draw was $1 million plus an recording deal with RCA.
