Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning show At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and other congressional activities, including discussions to raise the limit on federal debt and the super committee deliberations. Bolduan worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such reports as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision on Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she covered breaking news for 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
