Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn inspired her to work for months on the technique that, does not, however, paint the chosen object on canvas. When objects live or a thing that can be eaten, like humans and fruits, they become a painting of themselves. The ephemeral nature of her painting style is evident and the only thing that remains in Alexa Meade's works is a photographic image. Both photographic and painting techniques are so closely coordinated and result in nothing but a two-dimensional flat space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is discernible only in certain areas like near the eyes or hair. Meade has also integrated her painted models within the 3-dimensional space around them. The interaction between them as well as the world they created is conceivable. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation is thus broken.
