Coleman is Lancashire-born. She was the head girl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A-levels. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will be Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat stated that he picked Coleman to play the role of companion due to her ability to be the best companion for Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. She is however, more known for TV projects than movies. Out of the many roles Eva has appeared in, on TV shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. The actress was nominated two "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played, and she also had an opportunity to explore her artistic talents.
