Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she moved from Morocco to California. She earned her degree at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the same year she got her big break in acting. Pernas appeared in minor roles on NCIS as well as Leverage and Leverage, however she got the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap-opera in 2016, the actress landed an appearance on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, who is proficient in four different languages, is currently on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also was on the show Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 to 2020, she portrayed Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is in a relationship with Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance started after Chrishell Stause and This Is Us actress split in November 2018. Pernas Hartley tied the knot in secret with Pernas on May 20, 2021.
