Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th in 1997, Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics that took place in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her twin sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman as she was just six years old. The school she attended was Bannon's Gymnastix for a total of 11 years. Biles took home a gold medal in vault and floor in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships of 2010. She then made her debut at the top levels of gymnastics. In less than two years she was the very best in her sport. Biles was distinguished through her unwavering performance, enthusiasm and the difficulty she encountered at all four events: vaulting uneven bars, floor exercises.
